RSVSR Why Greasing Her Palms Pays Off Arc Raiders Quest Guide

I picked up Celeste's "Greasing Her Palms" job in Speranza thinking it'd be a quick lap, then you realise it's three separate hotspots and one stupidly easy way to brick your run. Before you even queue, check your loadout and plan your route like you actually care about keeping your stuff; I even skim ARC Raiders Items when I'm deciding what I'm willing to risk. The big rule is simple: protect the Dam Surveillance Key, because losing it turns this quest into pure busywork.

1) Dam Battlegrounds and the Key Problem

Do the Dam first while you definitely have the key. Stick it in a safe pocket and don't "just carry it for a bit" because that's how it disappears. You're heading for the Water Treatment Control building, and the southwest entrance usually keeps the mess to a minimum. Inside, take a right into the dark hall, then another right to the locked door with the camera and red light. Pop the key, get in, grab the intel, and don't hang around—Arc mutants love to pile in when you're stuck fiddling with a door. If you show up and someone's already opened it, still walk in; it counts, and you don't need to play hero.

2) Spaceport Thrusters People Keep Missing

This objective trips players up because you're not inspecting the little loot props on the ground. You want the huge terrain thrusters on trailers, sitting south of Rocket Assembly and east of the Launch Towers. It's an open area, so assume someone's watching lanes or rotating in for an easy third-party. Walk up to the southwestern thruster and just stay close for a few seconds until the prompt lands. If it's being stubborn, move around the machinery a bit—jumping or hugging the trailer edge usually makes it register.

3) Buried City: Don't End Up in the Wrong Zone

In Buried City, the fastest way to waste a raid is mixing up the Space Travel building with the Research side. You're aiming for the eastern red zone. Get to the elevator shaft, zipline up, then drop to Floor 6. From there it's mostly following the numbered walls until you reach the barricaded door. Shoot it, or breach it if you brought a tool. Same deal as the Dam: if another crew already opened it, you can simply step inside the rooms and the objective will tick off.

Cash Out and Leave Clean

Once all three intel checks are done, head back to Celeste and take the payout—Lure Grenade Blueprint plus crafting components that actually matter. It's not a glamorous chain, but it's the kind where one sloppy death can snowball into an hour of scavenging for a replacement key, so play it patient and don't gamble on ego fights. If you're tweaking your kit for repeat runs, it helps to think in terms of what you can afford to lose, not what looks cool on paper, and that's where solid ARC Raiders gear choices make the whole thing feel less punishing.
