HBO Max will arrive in 14 more Asia Pacific markets on Oct. 15, as Warner Bros. Discovery ramps up the streamer’s international footprint.

The new territories include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, along with Myanmar, Nepal, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Timor‑Leste.

The timing precedes the Oct. 27 launch of HBO’s Stephen King–inspired series It: Welcome to Derry, giving the platform fresh original programming to promote in the region.

That series, expanding the universe introduced in the It films, was developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs and stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso and Bill Skarsgård.

Warner Bros. Discovery says the rollout follows successful HBO Max debuts in Australia and parts of Europe earlier this year and pushes the service toward availability in more than 100 markets by the end of the year.

The company also signaled further major launches are planned for 2026, naming Germany, Italy and the U.K. as upcoming priorities.

Subscribers in the new markets will be able to stream HBO’s flagship dramas such as House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin and The Pitt, alongside recent theatrical titles like Superman, Sinners and Final Destination: Bloodlines.

The service’s catalog will draw from across Warner Bros. Discovery’s brands — premium HBO shows, DC and Harry Potter franchises, Cartoon Network animation and lifestyle and factual offerings from Discovery, TLC, Food Network, ID and HGTV.

Additional content slated for the platform includes originals like The Paper and Mobland, reality staples such as Gold Rush, Deadliest Catch and 90 Day Fiancé, and animated favorites including Adventure Time, We Bare Bears, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.
