Even in a stark sellers market there are just five all-but-certain sellers: Marlins, White Sox, Rockies, Angels and As at least 13 pitchers of real impact are expected to be discu sed at the trade deadline. Trade chances: Very High. 5. Nate Eovaldi, Rangers, SP The defending champs will likely go for it with Jacob deGrom, Tyler Mahle, Evan Carter and Josh Jung returning. Trade chances: High. 7. Chris Ba sitt, Blue Jays, SP Hed be up on this list, but his $22M salary is higher than others. Trade chances: Low. 8. Pete Fairbanks, Rays, RP Dominant closer with quirky, fun personality has year and team option for 2026 to go. Trade chances: Low 9. Tanner Scott, Marlins, RP The rental star is sure to go somewhere. Yusei Kikuchi, Blue Jays, SP The Jays need to sell at least their rentals, with the greater question being whether they trade non-rentals Ba sitt plus stars Vlad Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette.
